  • FairPrice Group’s A Full Plate food donation drive returns for its third run in 2026, supporting nearly 600,000 beneficiaries from 21 community and charity partners, including lower-income families, seniors and migrant workers.

  • FairPrice Foundation is contributing $1 million in grocery and meal vouchers, building on more than $3 million raised through A Full Plate since its launch in 2024 to improve access to nutritious food.

  • Singaporeans can donate grocery bundles from $10 or hot meals and beverages from $2 at participating FairPrice Group outlets and digital platforms from 12 October to 13 December 2026.

With supermarkets, food courts, and hawker centres located in most neighbourhoods, getting a healthy, nutritious meal in Singapore shouldn’t be difficult.

But with living costs remaining high, many vulnerable communities still struggle with affordability.

That’s why the FairPrice Group (FPG) is bringing back its food donation drive, A Full Plate, for the third year in a row to provide nutritious groceries and hot meals to nearly 600,000 beneficiaries from 21 community and charity partners.

As in previous campaigns in 2024 and 2025, Singaporeans can support this cause by donating grocery bundles and cooked meals through the group’s supermarkets, food outlets, and digital platforms from 12 October to 13 December 2026.

FairPrice Foundation, the group’s philanthropic arm, will continue to support this meaningful initiative with $1 million in fresh grocery and warm meal vouchers.

$3 million FPG boost towards Singapore’s essential food needs

A Full Plate, launched in 2024 after an FPG study highlighted the challenges lower-income families face in accessing fresh protein, fruits, and vegetables, has raised over $3 million to provide practical food assistance to communities in need.

The initiative has since grown beyond improving food accessibility to helping people ease the cost of living. Singapore’s largest food donation drive now helps seniors and lower-income families reduce grocery bills, and support migrant workers with daily meal items.

FPG, which operates FairPrice supermarkets and Kopitiam cooked food outlets, remains committed to helping disadvantaged groups with essential food needs.

FPG Group CEO Vipul Chawla said: “For the seniors, families and workers we support, every grocery bundle or meal received helps ease everyday expenses and takes away some of the worry about putting food on the table.

“Through FairPrice Foundation, we remain committed to sustaining this support. We hope more Singaporeans will join us in making a difference in whatever way they can.”

Sole breadwinner receives help to stretch the family budget

One  worker getting help to afford her family’s meals is Purnawati Shanty (pictured above), who has been receiving monthly sponsored food packs from Riverlife Community Services, a community partner of the FPG donation drive.

As the sole breadwinner for her family of five, the food packs have helped the 41-year-old stretch her monthly household budget. With support that provides wholesome meals to keep her three children well-fed and healthy, Shanty can channel her funds toward their school essentials.

The grateful mother said: “The monthly care pack has helped to ease our grocery costs, allowing me to put more towards my children’s needs, giving us greater peace of mind.”

Holistic support for local food and nutritional needs

FPG’s commitment to local food needs goes beyond accessibility; the group takes a holistic approach to putting healthy, affordable meals on Singapore tables.

To keep protein staples more affordable for households, FairPrice supermarkets have lowered chicken and egg prices from 1 October to 31 December 2026. Shoppers can buy a tray of 30 Dasoon Fresh Eggs for $4.95, down from the usual $6.45, and a 1kg Seara Frozen Chicken Griller for $2.50, down from $6.

Meanwhile, FairPrice Foundation has been supporting the nutritional needs of younger children and youths and educating them on the benefits of eating healthier.

For instance, the Cheers Protein Giveaway campaign distributed protein drinks to 4,500 youths from self-help groups from 31 July to 31 August 2026. For younger children, the Start Strong, Stay Strong initiative, also launched in 2024, is Singapore’s first preschool nutrition education programme aimed at helping young children develop healthy, sustainable eating habits.

The Foundation is also addressing seniors’ nutritional needs, moving beyond providing food to encourage healthier, more sustainable habits.

This year’s rollout of the Stay Strong initiative, Singapore’s first nutrition education programme, helps seniors translate clinical nutrition guidance into simple, practical daily habits. Additionally, the Protein Pledge initiative, launched in 2025 to provide fresh protein to underprivileged communities, was expanded this year to include fresh milk for senior beneficiaries.
