NTUC Enhanced WISE

Union members who have subscribed to NTUC Enhanced WISE will be covered as follows:


Illness or Accident of Life Assured (Before age 65)	$10 per day (from 1^st to 60^th day) $15 per day (from 61^st to 365^th day) for any one confinement


Illness or Accident of Spouse (Under age 60) and Dependent Children (Over 3 months & under age 21)	$10 per day up to a maximum of 365 days for any one confinement

UPAGE Loyalty Award

Union members who have reached the official retirement age of 62 years will be eligible to collect the UPAGE Loyalty Award of $200 from UPAGE upon submission of relevant document. To be eligible for this award, a union member must join UPAGE for a continuous period of more than 5 years.

Insurance

Free Insurance Coverage SLF GIFT PLUS is a free group insurance coverage for members that pays up to $5,500 for death or permanent & total disability (PTD) due to natural causes (24 hours) or accidents during working hours; up to $30, 000 for death or PTD due to accidents which occur outside working hours. The coverage is also extended to member’s spouse that pays up to $500 for death or PTD due to all causes. Criteria: Members must be 65 years old or below. New members must have at least 6 months of continuous union membership & be actively and physically at work at the point when they are eligible for coverage. Union members who have subscribed to NTUC Enhanced WISE will be covered as follows:

(i)	Death of Life Assured (Before age 65) arising from illness or accident during office hours	$2,000
ii)	Death of Spouse (Under age 60) and Dependent Children (Over 3 months & under age 21)	$1,000

Members may join NTUC Income as an insurance adviser /organiser. The benefits include unlimited earning possibilities, great opportunities to market life /investment-linked /general /health insurance plans and sponsored in-house training by NTUC Income.

Financial Assistance

During times of economic downturn, hardship grant may be available at year end for members based on their salary income. The hardship grant is jointly administered by Singapore Labour Foundation and the union. Details of the grant for eligible members would be made available at the appropriate time.

Annual Souvenir

Each year, the union gives out annual souvenirs to members as a token of appreciation and support for UPAGE. The receipt of annual souvenir is greatly anticipated by members yearly.
